Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant is a one-component sealant/adhesive that cures at room temperature when exposed to the moisture in the air. When undergoing the acetoxy cure system, the product transforms from a non-sag paste to a tough and flexible rubber that adheres to many substrates. Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant is stable and flexible from -60C to +180C (-76F to +356F), with short peaks up to +205C (401F). Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant has excellent dielectric properties. The product complies with MIL-A-46106 and FDA 177.2600. After 24 hours (at room temperature and 50% relative humidity) Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant will have a cure depth of about 3 mm. Limited atmospheric moisture and lower humidity levels will extend cure time. When stored at 32C (90F) the product’s shelf life is 900 days from the date of its manufacture.
