Winsor & Newton’s Distilled Turpentine is derived from pine trees and is the most traditional solvent. It can be used to clean brushes and to create your own painting mediums. An efficient solvent, it removes even dried oil, alkyd and acrylic colors from brushes and painting tools. Can also remove varnishes (including Dammar Varnish) in preparation for re-varnishing. Do not use if it has thickened. Mix and use for cleaning with caution. It is W&N’s strongest and most hazardous thinner; use and dispose of responsibly. 75ml (2.54 oz) and 250ml (8.45 oz) bottles.
