The SharkBite 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect x 1/2 in. Male Pipe Thread Slip Adapter is an innovative repair adapter that allows you to make a quick repair on Copper or CPVC Pipe when transitioning from threaded pipe. The slip adapter allows up to 2 in. of damaged pipe to be removed and repaired. Simply thread the MNPT side and insert the slip adapter onto the other end of pipe completing the connection. The slip adapter is also a great item to have for new Water Filtration System installs, it allows for easy and simple install that requires no solder, clamps, unions or glue.
