The U.S. SOLID 12 V DC 3/8 inch NPT normally closed electric solenoid valve is designed with a durable brass body, two-way inlet and outlet ports with heat and oil resistant Viton gaskets. The valve is normally closed meaning it will remain closed to flow until energized. Once energized the valve will open. The valve will only remain open if it is energized. To close the flow, simply turn off the power.NOTE: This valve is NOT a continuous working valve. The valve is NOT meant to be energized for longer than 8 hours at any one time. To do so will shorten the life of the valve considerabley and may cause the valve to burn out quickly.This valve is directional. There is an arrow on the bottom of the valve to indicate the direction of the flow.
