Shallow design receptacle features ultrasonic heavy-duty construction that offers long lasting life span and high performance in homes, offices, schools and other settings. It has a terminal that accepts up to 10 copper or copper-clad wires. Straight blade receptacle contains double-wipe power contacts for plug retention and maximum conductivity. The three-wire receptacle has side wired shutter mechanism that blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted. It measures 1.330 Inch x 0.760 Inch x 4.200 Inch and has quick wire push-in terminals. It has a flammability rating of V-2/UL94 and has a NEMA rating of 5-15R. Decorative grounded duplex receptacle is NOM/CSA certified, UL listed and meets 2008 NEC requirements, ANSI/NEMA standards.
