This SxS Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor circulates the cold air from the freezer into the fresh foods compartment of your refrigerator. You’ll need to replace this part if it has shorted out and is no longer cooling the appliance properly. When the evaporator fan fails, it often generates a lot of noise in the freezer area. Note that to access the part, you’ll have to remove the shelving from the freezer and the inside back panel.
