Freud’s undersized plywood bits are specifically sized to match the actual thickness of 1/4”, 1/2″” and 3/4” plywood (7/32”, 15/32” and 23/32”) for perfect gap-free dados. The down shear design on the 23/32” bit virtually eliminates splintering, and all bits feature Freud’s TiCo Hi-Density Carbide to withstand the rigors of routing plywood containing high glue content, which rapidly dulls standard bits.
