Crimp and trim wiring and cables with this Platinum Tools clamshell-style crimping tool. This tool is designed to handle large cables that are used in audio and visual communications as well as networking. It provides a ratcheted high-leverage platform for terminations. Ideal for large wire gauges and hard insulation around conductors it can also be used for separating splines. The crimps created by this tool are compliant with federal communications specifications. The comfortable ergonomic handles are padded and rubber-coated.
