The shape of this hatchet is classic with rounded lugs, sharply nipped shoulders, and a slim blade section. It has a 3″ face and a 13 1/2″ oiled hickory handle, and weighs 1 1/2 lb. Each hatchet is marked with the initials of the smith who forged it, and is fully honed, ready for use. Supplied with a full-grain leather case and an informative booklet outlining proper usage, cutting techniques and care instructions.
