It has a nominal rating of 0.5 microns that is suitable for most water conditions. The flow rate is 1.5 gpm (5.7 lpm). The filter removes cysts, sediments, and the taste & odor of chlorine. The filter provides protection from the harmful effects of chlorine-induced corrosion. The filter reduces scaling caused by hard water. It protects pipes and equipments from the damaging effect of hard water scaling. ICE120-S has a reasonably good capacity of 9,000 gallons (34,069 liters)—sufficient for most households. The system has 3/8” FNPT inlet/outlet connections for ease of making attachments among the existing plumbing lines. The ICE120-S system includes a head assembly with an integral mounting bracket, pressure gauge, and a single cartridge filter.
