Edwards Electromagnetic door holder is surface/wall mounted and features die cast metal construction. Door holder has powder epoxy aluminum colored finish and durable baked polyester powder paint. It features a shock absorbing nylon ball that allows the plate to adjust to any door angle. Door holder has low power consumption. It has 111 N nominal holding force and has an adjustable swivel contact plate. It comes with an electromagnet for which field wiring connections are made inside the electrical box. Door holder has current rating of 0.015 Amps and voltage rating of 24 VDC/VAC or 120 VAC at frequency range of 60 Hz. It is designed to be used on self-closing, swinging doors to automatically isolate an area when activated by fire alarm, smoke detection or sprinkler systems. It finds application in stairwell doors, room doors, long corridors, schools-exit door, offices, nursing homes and public buildings. Door holder is C/US, UL/CSFM listed and FM approved.
