Flexible and easy to install, the Intermatic WP1020C Guardian weatherproof two-gang or single-gang in-use cover is ideal for horizontal or vertical outdoor outlets in a wet location. Compliant with Article 406.8(B)(1) of the 2005 National Electrical Code, its clear polycarbonate cover fits over any pair of switches or wall outlets, while its pre-adhered neoprene gasket protects the connection from weather. The black, UV-stabilized base fits over existing wall outlets and comes with 2 fixed, patented inserts to further seal the outlet: (1) for a standard wall outlet and (1) for a decorator switch or outlet.
