The NEW Retrofit Kit, Model 10-900, will convert Rikon’s popular 10-325, as well as the new 10-324 bandsaws, to this tool-less blade guide system. The simplicity of this blade guide system is a feature that every woodworker will appreciate. These innovative, patent-pending guides make setting the precision ball bearing guides fast and easy, with no tools required! Setting the guides takes just seconds. With just a turn of the large knobs, the bearings are freed from their previous positions. Internal springs that push on the rear bearing mounting posts will automatically force the bearings safely away from the bandsaw blade. Then, by pushing on the guides’ rear posts or even using the knobs themselves, the bearings can be moved into your desired spot next to the blade and secured in position by a twist of the same knobs. The ball bearing guides reduce heat building friction, increase blade life, and contribute to the smooth operation of the machine during cuts.The Rikon Bearing Guide Retrofit Kit includes upper and lower side and rear thrust bearing assemblies, blade guards, guard height scale and complete instructions for installation and use.
