Recharge the battery for your Ring Spotlight Cam, Battery Powered model (sold separately) using solar energy by connecting it to the weather-resistant Ring Solar Panel. To save you the hassle of recharging the battery yourself, the Solar Panel simply connects to the camera via the attached 5-foot micro USB cord and can be mounted nearby. Only a few hours of sunlight, direct or cloudy, is needed each day to provide continuous power for the camera. It even works on cloudy days. Like other Ring products, the Solar Panel comes with Lifetime Purchase Protection, so if it’s stolen, the manufacturer will provide a free replacement. The Solar Panel has an attached micro USB cable that plugs into the Spotlight Cam. The Solar Panel comes with installation hardware and the tools you need to mount it to a wall or roof.
